Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Contavue ("we", "us"), a lead marketplace that connects customers looking for services with service providers in South Africa. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms.

1. Accounts

• You must be 18 or older and give accurate business details.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity on your account.

2. Credits and payments

• Credits are bought in South African rand (ZAR) through PayFast and are used to unlock lead contact details.
• Lead prices depend on lead quality and are shown before you unlock a lead.
• Unlocked leads are final. If a lead's contact details are clearly invalid, contact us within 7 days and we will review it for a credit refund.
• Unused credits do not expire but cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by the Consumer Protection Act.

3. Using leads responsibly

• Use lead details only to respond to the customer's enquiry. Do not resell, spam or share them.
• You must comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and direct-marketing rules when contacting customers.

4. Customers submitting requests

When you request a quote, you agree that your details may be shared with a limited number of providers who can help you.

5. Our responsibility

We do not guarantee that any lead will turn into business. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before a claim.

6. Suspension

We may suspend accounts that break these terms, misuse leads or attempt fraud.

7. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
